Social Goods Modern Bakery

Social Goods Modern Bakery is a stylish bakery and café in Central, Hong Kong, created by Christophe Younes, the co‑founder of the renowned French patisserie chain Paul Lafayet. After helping to transform Hong Kong’s patisserie scene, Younes launched Social Goods as a concept that merges his two biggest passions: the discipline of fitness and the joy of cooking.

For Younes, food has always represented both “fuel and comfort.” Social Goods is where the ethos of the gym meets the warmth of a kitchen that smells like home. The bakery focuses on sourdough, artisanal bread, and thoughtfully crafted pastries, reflecting a broader commitment to health, quality ingredients, and an active lifestyle. The space itself is designed with layered textures – including custom tiles inspired by the structure of bread – and features original music, creating a warm, artistic atmosphere that goes beyond a typical bakery.
