Ankôma

Chef Frankie Wong is the Chef de Cuisine of Ankôma, an intimate eight-seat restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui that blends French and Japanese techniques with local ingredients. He was honored with the Michelin Guide Hong Kong Macau 2025 Young Chef Award, which recognizes chefs under 36 for exceptional potential and innovative skills.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Chef Frankie studied at the International Culinary Institute. His professional journey began in 2016 at Marco Polo Gateway Hotel, followed by a position at The Peninsula Hong Kong. In 2019, he opened a soft drinks and desserts shop in Guangzhou with two business partners. He later joined one-Michelin-starred ZEST by Konishi, then two-MICHELIN-starred Écriture, where he worked under Executive Chef Maxime Gilbert.
