Mina Güçlüer

BELON

Chef Mina Güçlüer is the Chef de Cuisine of BELON, a Michelin-starred modern French restaurant in Hong Kong. Born and raised in Istanbul, she grew up in a food-obsessed household — her father, a longtime concierge, took her to the city's finest restaurants. At 15, a stage at Istanbul's prestigious Divan hotel confirmed her calling. She trained in Berlin and worked at three-Michelin-star Victor's Fine Dining and two-Michelin-star Horváth before moving to Hong Kong, where she joined Amber and then BELON in 2019. Mentored by Chef Matthew Kirkley, Mina's cooking is precise, subtle, and occasionally touched by Turkish influences. She now leads BELON's next chapter.

Small Good Kennedy Town – They have great Iced americano and it’s close to my apartment, so it’s the best of both worlds. During my off days, I will usually grab a coffee and head over to the harbour on a morning walk
Winson’s Coffee Kennedy Town – Café in the day and transit to a bar in the evening. Great place for catching up with friends regardless of day or night
Ping Pong 129 Gintoneria - very hidden, love the slightly dark lighting and great for casual drinks
Bourke’s - amazing bar food, great drinks. Tara is great
