Octavium

Chef Giuseppe De Vuono is the 29-year-old Executive Chef of Octavium, the two-Michelin-starred Italian restaurant in Hong Kong. Formerly Chef de Cuisine at three-Michelin-starred and GreatList Awarded 8½ Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA, he helped Octavium retain its two-star status in the Michelin Guide Hong Kong 2024.

Born in Sicily, he trained in the Aeolian Islands and won a Silver Medal at a European competition. He worked in London at Locanda Locatelli and The Connaught before moving to Hong Kong in 2021. He is now considered a rising star in Hong Kong's Italian fine dining scene.
