Hansik Goo

Chef Park Seung-hun is the Head Chef of Hansik Goo, a contemporary Korean restaurant in Hong Kong that holds a Michelin star (awarded in 2022 — a historic milestone for Korean cuisine recognised by the Michelin Guide Hong Kong & Macau).

Born and raised in South Korea, Chef Park developed his foundation over eight years at restaurants including the two-Michelin-starred Mingles and Mamalee Market under renowned chefs such as Chef Kang Mingoo and Chef Song Ha-slam. When he learned of Chef Mingoo's plan to launch Hansik Goo in Hong Kong, he travelled from South Korea to join the opening team in 2020 and has been there ever since.
Through Hansik Goo, he aspires to highlight the diversity and excellence of Korean cuisine, creating dishes that are both authentic and appealing to a wider audience.

The Chairman stands out from other Cantonese restaurants through its strict focus on seasonal local ingredients, revived traditional techniques, and clean, restrained flavors that highlight the natural essence of each dish
I love Milligram Coffee because it serves smooth, well-balanced coffee in a calm, minimalist space that's perfect for relaxing or getting work done
I love Busan Night because it brings the lively Korean Pocha vibe to Hong Kong with great food and drinks
I like Gokan because it blends precise Japanese craftsmanship with bold, unexpected flavor combinations, creating cocktails that are both technically refined and sensorially exciting
