Chef Gavin Chin is the owner and executive chef of House of Culture (HOC) in Sai Ying Pun, Hong Kong. The Australian-Malaysian chef founded HOC in late 2023, where his "eclecticism" concept blends Southeast Asian spices, Australian dining culture, and Western techniques in the seasonal "Chaos Menu." Before HOC, he was head chef at Brut! and joined Fukuro under Black Sheep Restaurants. Gavin began his kitchen career at 16 in Australia, working across casual and high-end restaurants with a focus on Asian-inspired cuisine.
