Barry Quek主厨是香港米其林一星餐厅Whey的主厨。 他在新加坡出生并长大,在比利时、澳大利亚和伦敦工作之前,曾在包括Joël Robuchon和Les Amis在内的米其林星级餐厅接受培训。

2021年5月,他开设了Whey,将他的国际经验与新加坡童年风味融合在一起。 仅仅八个月后,这家餐厅就获得了米其林之星。 他的哲学--使用每一种配料--体现在"洋葱粥"和"柠檬三黄鸡"等菜肴中,融合了西方技术和浓郁的新加坡风味。
